Serena Piccoli - Poet, playwright, artistic director, translator, photographer and teacher
I am an Italian poet, artistic director, playwright, translator, teacher and a photography lover.
This is just a short bio, if you wish to read more, please visit this page: Biography
My latest poetry books are "Prunes and prisms", collaborative poems with William Allegrezza (Lavender Ink, USA 2024) and "gulp\gasp" published by Moria Poetry (USA, 2023).
I enjoy writing both in English and Italian.
I am a long experienced teacher of English, and of Italian, expecially for the Dante Alighieri Society of British Columbia.
You can hear me reading at Festivals (do come and say Hi!) and you can see my photos in art galleries in the UK and USA (visit: Publications).
Here's an interview I like: read
I like taking travel and street photos. Some have been published in magazines and displayed in galleries and organizations. My photos are featured as cover art for magazines (Acropolis, Coven Poetry, Ilinix, Space City Underground) and I have been selected as a featured artist in others (Kissing Dynamite).
I have been 2023 Best of the Net Nominee for art - nominated by Kissing Dynamite.
